The Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University invites us to explore and understand the phenomenon of “mutelu” — superstitious and mysterious matters that reflect social conditions, the way of life, and the emotional state of city people who must contend with loneliness and the myriad uncertainties they face in life.

Researchers from Chulalongkorn University have made use of forage grass to feed microorganisms and convert the resulting fat into jet fuel. They aim to expand petroleum-based oil replacement production to reduce impacts on human health and the environment.

The Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with the Thailand Foundation is promoting the learning of Thai language as a new form of Soft Power which is rapidly gaining popularity internationally. It has now launched language instructional media for teaching Thai in nine languages via Chula MOOC and the E-book format.
